Dr Seyyed Mahmoud Yousofsani said that this is the
first time that this book is edited in Iran. This work is on logic, and is an
almost complete course in logic that covers the subject to the end of theorem
chapter.
He
added: after Shifa's logic, this book is Avicenna's most comprehensive work on
logic. By referring to this book, one can understand many problems stated in
the book of Shifa.
Dr.
Yousofsani added: this book is one of Avicenna's early works on logic and one
can somehow consider it as a summary of Shifa.
According
to Dr. Yousefsani this book will be published by Iranian Institute of Philosophy
by the end of this year. Mr Yousofsani's last published work is the collection
of Kendi's philosophical Treatises by Mohammad Abdolhadi Abouvarid.
