Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mohammad-Reza Ne'matzadeh says Iran's presence in Milan Expo 2015 themed 'Nutrition, Earth and Energy for Life' is aimed at promulgating the Iranian notion of the Earth facilities are for all in the world.
Attended
by 140 countries and 40 international organizations, the global event opened on
May 1 and will continue until October 31.
Talking
to IRNA, while inaugurating Iran's pavilion in the expo, he added that the
event will provide a suitable opportunity for expansion of commercial
cooperation and develop Iran's exports to other countries.
During
the six-month event, a day coinciding with Avicenna Commemoration Day has been
designed as 'Iran National Day'.
Iran's
pavilion has been decorated with local designs which are reminiscent of Iranian
handicrafts and traditional tablecloth featuring Iranian foods and agriculture
since the olden times.
