Gholamhussein Ebrahimi Dinani asserted that the religion of Islam survives today and will remain forever because it is the religion of wisdom and knowledge.
Addressing
a ceremony held in Tehran to praise the works and cultural activities of
Ayatollah Mohammad Khamenei, Dinani asserted that what Ayatollah Khamenei has
done in Iran was the first of its kind. “By publication of philosophical books
and works by Mulla Sadra, he is doing a pure cultural work,” said Dinani.
He
further stated that west only highlights the strict parts of Islam and
disregards its care and focus on wisdom.
Elsewhere
in his address, he stated that Iran has always been the land of Islamic wisdom
and civilization by being home to figures like Avicenna, Mulla Sadra and Sheikh
Razi.
Ayatollah
Mohammad Khamenei is the Supreme Leader’s elder brother. He is currently
presiding over Sadra Foundation.
The
ceremony was held on May 27, 2013 in the presence of a number of cultural
figures at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall.
